This session explores the diversity, heritage, and current state of the Commonwealth’s agriculture including the types of farm operations, equipment, and landscapes.

In this inaugural session of AG 101, PA NRCS State Conservationist, Denise Coleman is joined by Penn State Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. Bruce McPheron to invite you to learn more about Pennsylvania's farm operations. Dr. Tim Kelsey, Professor of Agricultural Economics, Penn State, provides an overview of PA agricultural production. He is joined by Charlie White, Sustainable AG Extension Associate, Penn State and Kristen Saacke Blunk, Penn State Ag & Environment Center, who describe the "team" who works with the producer on a day-to-day basis.
