Join Penn State Extension as they visit and learn from experienced entrepreneurial Alpine cheese producers in Central Switzerland, ending with two days at the International Cheese Festival in Bra Italy.

Begin by meeting your Penn State guides in Zurich, Switzerland at our hotel gathering spot for the night. Our private Alpine cheese guide will connect us to award winning producers highlighting their unique processes, products, marketing, business and agritourism operations. From Switzerland we'll travel by coach bus over the Alps into Italy where we'll continue the trip with a visit to the highly acclaimed International Cheese Festival in Bra, Italy. This event, hosted by
Slow Food International, brings together top cheese producers from all over the world for competition, classes, tasting and networking. We look forward to representing US cheese making at this prestigious event. Here you will have time to network, attend educational sessions and explore at your own pace, before returning home via Nice, France.

LOGISTICS
AIRFARE
All airfare to and from Zurich Airport, Zurich Switzerland, and from Nice Cote d'Azur Airport, Nice France, are the responsibility of the participant and are not included in the planning or tour registration fee. We strongly suggest you do not purchase your international flights until the registration close date unless otherwise contacted
to ensure we have adequate participation to continue the tour. We strongly recommend that all participants fly into the Zurich Airport as this is the most
geographically convenient airport to our tour meeting location. Our tour will conclude in Nice, France and we strongly recommend that all participants fly out of Nice Cote d'Azur Airport, Nice France. If you require assistance with your travel reservations or have additional questions
