PA OneStop Program Offered

Posted: July 20, 2015

The Berks County Conservation District is offering a free workshop that will teach you how to write your own Agricultural Erosion and Sedimentation Plan.

Why would you need to sign up for this workshop?

“Under PA Chapter 102 all farms (including no-till farms) must make use of Best Management Practices (BMP) to minimize erosion and

sedimentation. Any farm that operates more than 5,000 square feet must have a written Agricultural Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan. Heavy use areas like barnyards, feed lots or exercise areas also need to be addressed in a plan.”

Bob Neiderer from Penn State will teach you how to get started on your plan by using the FREE Online program PA OneStop.
