Calling All Organic Farmers

Posted: April 2, 2015

Join Rodale's Organic Allentown farmers’ markets and be part of an exciting opportunity to change a city through organic agriculture.

Organic Allentown is Rodale Institute's premier initiative to increase local, healthy organic food production and availability in the City of Allentown.

This season, Rodale Institute will host two organic farmers’ markets in the City of Allentown, a local community that is in the midst of a renaissance.

Markets will be located on 7th Street in the parking lot of the at the St. Luke's Evangelical Church and at the YWCA/ YMCA on 15th Street.

Through Organic Allentown, Rodale Institute plans to establish a connection between local organic farmers and the residents of downtown Allentown. By implementing purchasing incentives that will encourage and empower Allentown residents to participate in the farmers’ markets, we can positively impact the health and well-being of the local community.

But we need your help!

We're looking for vendors to be part of these markets. Vendors must be certified organic or in transition.
