Log a Load for Kids is a nationwide giving campaign through which loggers and others contribute to local Children's Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals to provide medical care to kids in need, regardless of their families' ability to pay. Proceeds from this monthly fundraising effort will be distributed among the five Children's Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals in Pennsylvania.

The parade will take place at the Timber 2013 Forest Products Equipment and Technology Exposition, a biennial forest products equipment trade show co-hosted by the Pennsylvania Forest Products Association and the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences.

The parade will begin on Demo Alley on the event grounds, proceed down W. 8th Street and end on Main Street. The check presentation will be in front of the Ag Choice Exhibit Building on Main Street.
