Workshops and Presentations

The 2017 Timber show will feature free seminars offering PA SFI logger continuing education training credits. This year's courses will cover the importance of PA Logging workforce and present the results of the statewide logger survey.

Various Presentations are planned and PA SFI Continuing Education Courses will be offered.

PA SFI Continuing Education Courses will be offered Friday, 1 - 4:30 p.m., and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Family Bldg. on Main Street.  The courses include classroom presentation covering importance of the logging workforce, the forest product industry, and efforts to support logging workers and companies, as well as the Pennsylvania sales tax exclusion on logging equipment. The course will conclude with the results of the 2016 Statewide logger survey.

It is free to attend the course (public welcome), however a $20 administrative fee will be required for loggers to register this course for PA SFI CE credit. To preregister for credits, call (814) 355-1010 or visit the PA SFI website.
