Kim L. Masser Memorial Scholarship for the College of Agricultural Sciences

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved a minimum 2.3 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and who are majoring or planning to major in Food Science, Plant Science, Agribusiness Management, or Biological Engineering, or who are minoring in Plant Pathology, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Systems Management, and/or Off-Road Equipment. First preference shall be given to students who graduated from the Tri-Valley Area High School in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania or successor high school. Second preference shall be given to students who graduated from Line Mountain High School in Herndon, Pennsylvania or the Upper Dauphin High School in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania or successor high schools. Third preference shall be given to students whose home address of residence is in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Fourth preference shall be given to students who graduated from a Pennsylvania high school. Students selected for the Kim L. Masser Memorial Scholarship shall be given the opportunity, but shall not be required, to apply for a potential co-operative experience or internship with Sterman Masser, Inc., and will receive first preference.

Lawrence F. Marriott Memorial Scholarship

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given with the intent to provide recognition and financial assistance to full-time undergraduate students who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Crop Production option as offered by the Department of Plant Science, or successor department, who are, to the extent permitted by law, citizens of the United States. Second preference shall be given to eligible recipients who are enrolled in the Agroecology option as offered by the Department of Plant Science, or successor department. This scholarship is available to all undergraduate students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree program offered by the Department of Plant Science or the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management (or any successor departments) in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the Environmental Resource Management major with the Soil Science option and who have demonstrated interest in Soil Science, Agronomy or Turfgrass Science.

M. Forest Randolph Memorial Scholarship in Plant Sciences

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in any major in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved positive academic records or manifest promise of academic success.

Myron A. and Anita E. Pinkus Charitable Foundation Trustee Scholarship in the College of Agricultural Sciences

Consideration for this scholarship is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Horticulture Option. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses and who are pursuing a degree in one of the following majors: Landscape Contracting, Plant Science (with the Horticulture option), Turfgrass Science, or Forest Ecosystem Management, or successor academic majors. Eligibility is open to all Horticulture and Agroecology junior or senior undergraduate students who have demonstrated leadership and character and have shown outstanding ability in agriculture particularly as it relates to the seed industry. Radley Run Garden Club Scholarship

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduates majoring in Horticulture who have maintained an above-average academic standing and have documented financial need. First preference will be given to students from Chester County, second to those from Delaware County, and third to those residing in Bucks, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County. Robert L. Skeath Scholarship in Ornamental Horticulture

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have an interest in ornamental horticulture and have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Preference shall be given to students from Schuylkill County.

Robert P. Meahl Scholarship

This scholarship shall be awarded to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Horticulture who have at least third-semester standing. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, at Penn State University Park. First to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Plant Sciences and enrolled or planning to enroll in either Agroecology major option or the Crop Production major option, or successor degree program(s). 2. Second to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Agribusiness Management, or successor degree program.

Selma L. Terhorst Memorial Scholarship

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students majoring in or planning to major in Plant Sciences and pursuing the Horticulture option who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses. Walter Thomas Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students in Horticulture. Undergraduate students must have junior or senior standing and documented financial need. Graduate students must pursue research in the area of plant nutrition and shall exhibit research or teaching potential.
