College-wide Scholarships

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all Pennsylvania resident undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and who have been active in the Pennsylvania 4-H program in high school. First preference shall be given to students who are majoring or planning to major in Animal Sciences. In the event no students are identified, who meet the eligibility criteria in Animal Sciences, consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all students in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding success and who have been active in the Pennsylvania 4-H program in high school.

Consideration shall be given to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Candidates must exhibit or have potential for above-average academic achievement, participate in extracurricular or community activities, and have documented financial need. Preference shall be given but is not limited to students who provide evidence of participation or a desire to participate in agriculture-related programs on an international basis. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success, and who have a demonstrated financial need. Preference shall be given to students who are members of the Minorities in Agriculture and Natural Resources Association (MANRA). *DEMONSTRATED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool whose home address of residence is in the Northwest Region of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, funds will be awarded to any student in the College of Agricultural Sciences eligibility pool, regardless of preference. For the purposes of this scholarship, the Northwest Region of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be defined by the following Pennsylvania counties: Crawford, Erie, Mercer and Warren.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding academic success.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students, in their junior and/or senior year, enrolled in a major offered in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic units, at Penn State University Park who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. If no students meet the General Eligibility Criteria in a given year or if there are sufficient funds to award additional scholarships beyond the eligible recipients, then the scholarship monies can be awarded to students, regardless of the General Eligibility Criteria, in the following order: 1. To students who are minoring or planning to minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, or successor degree program. 2. To students who are, or who have, participated in the College of Agricultural Science's Springboard Competition, or successor program.

Preference shall be given to eligible recipients in the following order: First preference shall be given to students who are minoring or plan to minor in Poultry and Avian Sciences. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. The Office of Student Aid is responsible for identifying the eligible pool of students. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool who are home school high school graduates. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Prizes are awarded annually to winners of the Guldin Speaking Contest. Contest rules are available in the Office for Undergraduate Education.

The intent of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to all full-time undergraduate students pursuing or planning to pursue a degree offered by the Department of Animal Science, or successor department, who have achieved satisfactory academic records. First preference shall be given, to the extent possible, to eligible recipients who demonstrate an interest in dairy cattle breeding and genetics and/or who have been active in the 4-H Dairy Program. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference.

Consideration for this scholarship is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. **DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are participating in Raise.me, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP") or Complete Penn State, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Pilot Programs. If no eligible students for the above-mentioned programs are identified in a particular academic year, then this endowment shall be used for scholarship support for undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences or successor academic unit, who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Consideration for this award is to provide financial support and recognition to all incoming freshmen undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who manifest promise of outstanding academic success; who have demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses; who has an immediate family member who is a member of a cooperative; and who have demonstrated leadership through their involvement in community organizations. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need.
