Donald Evans Memorial Delta Theta Sigma Scholarship in Agricultural Sciences

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are members of the Beta Chapter of Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity, and who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success, and who participate in extracurricular activities.

Donald L. and Betty J. Mincemoyer Scholarship in the College of Agriculture

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who are planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved a predicted grade point average of 2.50. Consideration shall be given to incoming freshmen students who have demonstrated an interest in Agriculture through high school, community, extra-curricula, or personal activities such as working in Agricultural related industry. This scholarship is limited to residents of Pennsylvania. Providing they meet the other eligibility requirements, graduates of the Mifflinburg Area High School, Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, shall be given preference. Endowed by Donald L. and Betty J. Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who are participating in the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP"), RaiseMe, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), Complete Penn State, or Smart Track to Success, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Pilot Programs. First preference shall be given to students who are participants in STEP. If no eligible students for the above-mentioned programs are identified in a particular academic year, then this endowment shall be used for scholarship support for undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Donald R. Saylor Memorial Award

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all returning adult undergraduate students with the desire to obtain a degree who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences; who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success; and who have a proven financial need. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences, who are members of the Morrill Chapter of Alpha Zeta Fraternity, and who have exhibited excellence in scholarship, leadership and fellowship.

Consideration for this award shall be given to all graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who have achieved exemplary academic success in a turfgrass degree program.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all Pennsylvania resident undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and who have been active in the Pennsylvania 4-H program in high school. First preference shall be given to students who are majoring or planning to major in Animal Sciences. In the event no students are identified, who meet the eligibility criteria in Animal Sciences, consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all students in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding success and who have been active in the Pennsylvania 4-H program in high school.

Consideration shall be given to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences. For the purposes of this scholarship, the Northwest Region of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be defined by the following Pennsylvania counties: Crawford, Erie, Mercer and Warren.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students, in their junior and/or senior year, enrolled in a major offered in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic units, at Penn State University Park who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. If no students meet the General Eligibility Criteria in a given year or if there are sufficient funds to award additional scholarships beyond the eligible recipients, then the scholarship monies can be awarded to students, regardless of the General Eligibility Criteria, in the following order: 1. To students who are minoring or planning to minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, or successor degree program. 2.
