College-wide Scholarships

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Animal Science, or successor degree program. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference. **DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have demonstrated exemplary academic achievement. Endowed by members of the College of Agricultural Sciences Leadership Committee as a way to encourage students to participate in the philanthropic opportunities within the college.

Consideration shall be given to all undergraduates in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding success and who have a need for financial assistance to complete their education. Endowed by Mrs. Guldin.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. Consideration for this award shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences in at least their third semester who have achieved a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. First preference should be given to a full time undergraduate student who is an active member of the Epsilon Chapter of the Sigma Alpha Agricultural Sorority who upholds the ideals of Sigma Alpha through achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service. Second preference should be given to a woman enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who upholds the ideals of Sigma Alpha through achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service. Third preference shall be given to a full time undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who upholds the ideals of Sigma Alpha through achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service.

Consideration for these scholarships shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success, who have a demonstrated financial need, and who are Pennsylvania residents. First preference shall be given to students in production agriculture majors. The scholarships sponsored are: Pennsylvania Master Farmers Association Scholarship; Mason C. Gilpin Scholarship; Joyce and Ernest Miller Scholarship; Norman F. and Elsie Reber Scholarship; and Harry and Kathleen Ulrich Scholarship. Supported annually by the Pennsylvania Master Farmers Association. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool enrolled at Penn State University Park who have a demonstrated financial need. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, funds will be awarded to any student in the College of Agricultural Sciences eligibility pool, regardless of preference. **DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this award shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have demonstrated exemplary academic achievement. Endowed by James A. and Katherine M. Poorbaugh.

Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Endowed by John J. Finegan.

Consideration shall be given to all residents of Bradford County planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences. In the event that a qualified recipient from Bradford County is not available in any year, residents from any other county in Pennsylvania who are planning to enroll in the College shall be considered eligible for this scholarship. Endowed by a trust fund.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. The Office of Student Aid is responsible for identifying the eligible pool of students. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool who are majoring in Toxicology in the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, funds will be awarded to any student in the College of Agricultural Sciences eligibility pool, regardless of preference. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration shall be given to all students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have shown leadership in both extracurricular activities and resident education and all entering first-year students who participated in the Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences (formerly known as the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Agricultural Sciences.) Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Animal Science major within the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated financial need. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who are participating in Raise.me, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP"), or Complete Penn State, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Pilot Programs. If no eligible students for the above-mentioned programs are identified in a particular academic year, then this endowment shall be used for scholarship support for undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are also enrolled or planning to enroll in the Schreyer Honors College at The Pennsylvania State University.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at the Pennsylvania State University who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Preference shall be given to students whose home of record is in Huntingdon County, PA

Consideration for this award is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students whose home address of residence is in the territory of the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission in Pennsylvania. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference. For reference, the territory of the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission currently includes the following Pennsylvania counties: Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, and Wyoming. *DEMONSTRATED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED.
