This is a great opportunity and a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone interested in all animal species and agricultural education.
The Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences and Animal Science Department, with support from Dean Ott's team, are excited to welcome Dr. Temple Grandin, world-renowned animal behavior expert, to Penn State's University Park Campus on March 19-20, 2025. Dr. Grandin is looking forward to interacting with everyone.
A student-specific evening event will be held at 6 pm on March 19 in Snider Ag Arena. Dr. Grandin will speak, answer questions, sell/sign books, and mingle with our students at this event.
A faculty/staff/public evening event will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, March 20th, in 10 Sparks Building. Tickets are limited to 300 due to room capacity.
Dr. Grandin has graciously offered tickets at a discounted rate for students for March 19 and $25 for faculty/staff/extension for March 20. Please purchase your tickets at this link for the March 19 (student) or March 20 (other) event. Thanks to VBSC, ANSCI, and Dean Ott's office for covering the cost of cvent and supporting Dr. Grandin's visit.
Dr. Grandin will also be interacting with faculty and students throughout the day March 20. More information and a finalized itinerary will be coming about Dr. Grandin's visit as we get closer but be sure to get your ticket now for the evening event!
