The Kaye Biogeochemistry lab group is looking for research assistants for this summer. The field work will take place at the Rock Springs Agronomy Farm, and possibly farms in the area and other sites in PA.

Applicants should be eager to work as part of a large research team, and be comfortable with both physical work in the field - soil coring, biomass sampling - as well as processing samples in the lab - soil extractions, plant grinding, etc. Potential opportunities are available for independent research as well as internship credit.

The research assistant will be part of a multi-disciplinary research group working on sustainable agriculture with cover crops and reduced tillage. Work may also include plant ecology and entomology. No prior experience is necessary, but relevant coursework and field/lab experience is helpful. More information about the lab group's research can be found here. The paid position is hourly at approximately 40 hours per week, and lasts from early May to late August, possibly extending into the fall. The applicant should also have a valid driver's license. Position open until filled. If interested, please contact Brosi Bradley () and include a resume.
