Students will spend their time during this program in Taipei, Taiwan to learn food-related Chemistry through observing, tasting, discussing, and preparing various local cuisines. Through this experience filled with site visits and hands-on practices, students will understand how food culture is developed and integrated in the society. Students will develop and apply critical thinking skills, by combining holistic knowledge of both natural sciences and social sciences and projecting them onto the Taiwan society.
