Interested in making a sustainable impact at Penn State? Apply to join the Student Sustainability Advisory Council by December 19th
The Student Sustainability Advisory Council (SSAC) is accepting applications for Spring 2026! The SSAC is a student organization that acts as a consultant for university leadership on sustainability initiatives on campus. Undergraduate and graduate students within the council create year-long proposals with a subsequent presentation in the spring. Past projects include a single-use plastic ban, climate finance, and environmental education, among others. Students in the SSAC are leaders and advocates for sustainability at Penn State!
