Through a series of virtual workshops, gain the skills and knowledge to engage in undergraduate research.
The Spring 2025 series includes:
- January 29-30: Virtual or University Park Open House at Pattee and Paterno Libraries
- February 5: Getting Started with Research: Student Panel
- February 12: Ask a Faculty Researcher
- February 26: Research Ethics, Compliance, and Safety and How to Get Credit for Your Research Experience
- March 5: Showcase Your Research
- March 19: Citation Management
- March 26: Literature Review Foundations
- April 9: How to Read Scholarly Articles like a Ph.D. Student
Registration for this series is open! The Library Open House is a self-guided tour that takes about 30 minutes. The remaining workshops are scheduled for 3:30–4:30 p.m. on their respective dates.
This series of seven Zoom workshops and the Library Open House are designed to equip undergraduate students with essential skills and knowledge to effectively engage in Penn State's extensive research activities.
Students who complete at least five sessions will receive a certificate of completion that can be added to their resume or CV!
