Penn State's Livestock Judging Team traveled to Harrisburg, PA to compete in the Keystone International Livestock Expo collegiate contest. The team was 5th overall and, two members placed in the top 10!

The Penn State Livestock Judging Team competed in their hometown contest during the Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) from September 26 to October 5, 2025, earning several notable placings among a competitive field.

The Nittany Lions finished 5th overall as a team, including 4th in sheep and goats and 5th in reasons.

Individually, Megan Zipprich finished 5th overall, placing 10th in cattle, 10th in sheep and goats, and 8th in reasons. Sydney Phipps finished 7th overall, with additional placings of 9th in cattle and 5th in sheep and goats. Maddie Pimm also earned recognition with a 12th-place finish in sheep and goats, while Dave Schultheis placed 20th overall, placing 17th in sheep and goats, 19th in swine, and 16th in reasons.

The team extends its appreciation to the KILE volunteers for organizing the contest and to the exhibitors who generously provided livestock for the classes.
