Students in horticulture fields can apply by April 15; open to select PA counties or those studying locally.

The Norristown Garden Club is now accepting applications for its annual scholarships supporting students pursuing degrees in horticulture-related fields. The program, established in 1971, awards multiple scholarships each year to eligible college students.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in majors such as horticulture, botany, environmental studies, landscape architecture, or related disciplines. Priority is given to residents of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania, though non-residents may apply if they attend school within those counties.

Scholarships typically provide at least $2,000, with funds sent directly to recipients' schools for tuition. Applications are evaluated based on academics, recommendations, financial need, and extracurricular achievements.

Students must complete and submit an official application, available on the Norristown Garden Club website. All materials must be received by April 15, 2026, to be considered.

The scholarship program aims to support future professionals in agriculture, conservation, and environmental fields while investing in the region's next generation of horticulture leaders.
