The Community of Advising Excellence Award recognizes individuals who have shown qualities associated with outstanding academic advising for students in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Tenure track faculty, tenured faculty, instructors, and staff who advise undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the Community of Advising Excellence Award. This recognition can be received multiple times, potentially leading to the induction of recipients into the Academy of Advising Excellence.

Nominees for this award will have a sincere interest in undergraduate advising, challenge students to accomplish course completion at their highest ability, and inspire students to engage in activities, inside and outside the classroom. Nominees should also demonstrate commitment, initiative, and service to colleagues, the college, and the academic advising profession. Students, the Office for Undergraduate Education wants to know about the amazing work your advisor is doing, and we want you to nominate your advisor.
