Branching Out, hosted by the Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation, offers youth a sequenced career development and educational opportunity in the field of landscape stewardship through hands-on experiences at National Parks.

Branching Out Field Team engages youth in a variety of field projects and activities at National Parks.

Field Leader responsibilities include:

  • implementation of educational field projects
  • conducting team building activities
  • supervision and mentoring of youth employees
  • documentation of activities and achievements
  • assisting with program planning

This is a paid summer work experience. Hourly rate is $15.00/hour. Public transportation pass expenses to/from work are reimbursed.
