Undergraduate students pursuing careers in environmental and natural resource fields are invited to apply
The Mountain Lake Vegetation Management Council (MLVMC), an organization dedicated to advancing sustainable vegetation management practices, has announced its annual scholarship opportunity for undergraduate students pursuing careers in environmental and natural resource fields.
Through the program, MLVMC will award two $1,000 scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled at a college or university within the Mid-Atlantic region. Eligible applicants must be majoring in Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, or a closely related field and demonstrate a commitment to advancing sustainable vegetation management solutions.
The scholarship program aims to support academic excellence while encouraging students to develop practical approaches to vegetation management challenges facing natural and managed landscapes.
Students attending institutions in the following Mid-Atlantic states are eligible to apply: Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee.
