The Office of Multicultural Affairs will purchase 15 copies of the book, "Blind Spot: Hidden Biases of Good People" for interested undergraduate students who would like to explore a diversity topic and hold an open discussion about it. The group will be limited to 15 participants to allow for robust discussion. Selected students will be provided with a copy of the book and must agree to read it this semester. We are aiming to include students from a variety of majors, interests, and groups. Once the participants have been selected, a doodle pool will be sent to select a date and time for the discussion. We will aim for a date in the month of November. If you are interested in being a part of this Book Club, send an email to Dr. Patreese Ingram at describing in 2 or 3 sentences why you would like to join the Diversity Book Club.
