Seeking llama & animal care instructor and summer camp counselor for June-August 2018 in Freedom, Maine.
Since 1948 Hidden Valley Camp has been a leader in progressive summer opportunities in the arts & outdoors for children and adults from all over the US and around the world.
Teach llama care to kids (ages 8-14) and manage a heard or llamas in rural Maine. Share your knowledge about mini donkeys, mini horses, llamas and the Vietnamese pot-bellied pig with the campers.
Responsibilities include:
- feeding, coordination with vets, barn up-keep, etc.
- teaching llama care classes (grooming, short treks, basic anatomy, etc.)
- fulfilling other camp counseling responsibilities
