Applications for summer 2026 grants will open December 1
Erickson Discovery Grant
The Rodney A. Erickson Discovery Grant Program, named in honor of Penn State's seventeenth President, provides funding for student-initiated projects for summer 2026. Student projects proposing research, scholarship, or creative endeavors from all academic fields and campuses are welcome.
The competition cycle for the 2026 Erickson Discovery Grant will open December 1, 2025, with an application deadline of February 16, 2026. Results will be announced mid-March.
