Learn about programs and options for studying abroad during the Education Abroad Virtual 101 Info Session on January 15.

Education Abroad will host Education Abroad Virtual 101 Session to provide interested students more information on applying to study abroad at Penn State and program options approved
by the University. One attendee will win a $500 scholarship. The event will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, January 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Students from any Penn State campus are encouraged to attend. Registration is mandatory and accessible from the Education Abroad Virtual 101 Session webpage.

Penn State’s education abroad advisers will present the information and allow time at the end of the session for student Q&A.

Topics covered will include:

  • choosing a program
  • navigating the Education Abroad website
  • costs, funding, and scholarships
  • academic requirements

The student winner of the $500 scholarship may use the award toward any Penn State-approved education abroad program in any academic term.
