Celebrate the International Year of the Woman Farmer and Black History Month with a film screening of "The Earth Hears My Cry" directed by PhD student Elisabeth Ramsey.
You are invited to celebrate the International Year of the Woman Farmer and Black History Month by attending a film screening and panel discussion on Friday, February 27, from 3:00-5:00 pm in 112 Forest Resources Building and Zoom (registration required).
The event will feature a showing of 'The Earth Hears My Cry', a short documentary directed by PhD student Elisabeth Ramsey, followed by a conversation with Black women agriculturalists moderated by Remi Ham from Penn State Extension. Refreshments from Pennsylvania Black vendors will be provided following the event.
The event is being sponsored by WEARE of Ag Sci Global, the AESE Center for Economic and Community Development (CECD), and the College of Agricultural Sciences Office of Access and Equity. RSVP is required.
