Undergraduate and graduate students interested in the seed industry are encouraged to apply for the American Seed Trade Association's (ASTA) Student Connections program!

The Student Connections program was created by ASTA and the Seed Science Foundation (SSF) in partnership with ASTA's LEAD Committee to provide networking opportunities with industry mentors, executives, and thought leaders for university students who are interested in pursuing careers in the seed industry.

Selected students will have the opportunity to engage with seed industry professionals and executives during ASTA’s Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., June 8-11, 2025. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from policy leaders and government officials on a number of issues that are critical to agriculture. Students will then have a chance to jump right into action and participate in Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, using their newly honed skills to engage with federal lawmakers on our industry’s top priorities.

More information, including the application, can be found online.  Applications are due Friday, March 14, 2025. Questions? Email Kaity Crawford.
