Congratulations to Kendal Jenkins on being selected as October Ag Student of the Month!
Kendal Jenkins is a third year student studying animal science and is a Schreyer Honors scholar.
Kendal takes her academics seriously, but is involved in numerous clubs and organizations, including Penn State’s agricultural fraternity, Delta Theta Sigma, of which she serves as the vice president. Additionally, Kendal is the president of American Dairy Science Association Undergraduate Student Division, an active member of Penn State Dairy Science Club as well as the Penn State Dairy Judging Team, and she is treasurer of PA Junior Holstein Association. She has completed an internship through the Center for Dairy Excellence, and also actively works on her family’s dairy farm, where they milk 60 registered Holstein cows.
