The Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge is a national business competition that showcases U.S. startups developing innovative solutions that address challenges facing America’s farmers, ranchers and rural communities. Launched in 2015, The Challenge was the first national business competition of its kind focused exclusively on rural entrepreneurs.

Ten teams will compete for a total of $165k in startup funds, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The #AgInnovationChallenge winner will take home $50k.

The 10 semi-finalist teams will compete at the AFBF Convention in January 2022, to advance to the final round where the four finalist teams will present live to Farm Bureau members, investors, and industry representatives for a chance at being named the Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge Winner and will be awarded $50,000.

Applications are open for the 2022 American Farm Ag Innovation Challenge, presented in partnership with Farm Credit. Applications will be open until August 20, 2021.
