The 15th Annual Penn State Traditional American Indian Powwow will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 6th and 7th at the Mount Nittany Middle School, 656 Brandywine Drive, State College.
In the past, the powwow had more than 160 Native Dancers visit from as far as New Mexico, Canada, South Dakota and other American Indian Communities.
Come to sample American Indian foods, buy American Indian items from Native Vendors, and observe traditional American Indian Dancers and Singers.

While you are at the Powwow stop by the College of Agricultural Sciences table to learn more about our unique and award-winning class (CED 400) with its enriching field experience component (CED 401).
CED 400 is the spring course designed to prepare students for an intensive engagement with the Native American Ojibwe culture. CED 401 is the three-week field experience that offers intensive cultural engagement in Ojibwe communities. Students will take an active part in celebrations and ceremonies that are not generally open to visitors.
