The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides an unparalleled opportunity to study, conduct research, and serve as English teaching assistants abroad in order to build lasting connections between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program currently awards over 2,000 grants annually and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide. Opportunities are available for graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals, scientists and artists. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

The campus deadline for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program occurs the first week of classes in August. We will evaluate applicants based on their cumulative experience and goals; there is no minimum undergraduate GPA requirement. Students are encouraged to look into the Fulbright U.S. Student Program as soon as possible. Students in their junior year should consider applying for this program.

Interested applicants are encouraged to schedule a meeting with the University Fellowships Office before the end of the semester to go over their plans to apply for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Advising appointments will also be offered throughout the summer in person and over Zoom. Appointments can be scheduled using Starfish or by email .
