Study abroad in this unique location!

The Azores are a group of islands about 900 miles off the coast of Portugal. They are known for their beautiful green landscapes, coastlines, and small agricultural and fishing villages. This program will focus on farming and food production, diary, and key cultural transitions in the Azores. Activities include visits to learn about pineapple growing, a tea plantation, Caldeira das Sete Cidades, pasture walks, mobile milking systems, cheese processing, UHT milk and food safety, key historical sites, and meetings with student and faculty at the Universidade dos Acores. Please contact Lisa Holden, or Joy Pate, for more details and a short application.
