Seeking applicants for summer 2018 Dairy Education & Fund Development Intern Position.

Undergraduate students with an interest in dairy education and fundraising who wish to gain experience in Pennsylvania's dairy industry can now apply for a summer 2018 internship with the Center for Dairy Excellence.

The Center is seeking one intern who will assist and support the Dairy Education Programs Manager with the continued development of dairy education curriculum programs as well as fund development initiatives for the Center Foundation. This individual will also plan and attend youth educational events and assist center staff with key projects and programs.

Applicants must be able to fulfill no more than 40 hours per week in the Harrisburg office and must be entering at least their sophomore year of an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Applicants should have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills as well as be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Some experience in education or fund development is preferred, while knowledge and a basic understanding of the dairy industry is an advantage.

Interviews will be conducted in January, with the selected candidate notified no later than February 15.
