The Mortensen Weed Ecology group is seeking motivated and enthusiastic students interested in assisting with research related to sustainable cropping systems.

Interested in sustainable cropping systems? Would you like working in the field as a part of a multidisciplinary research team? The Mortensen Weed Ecology group is seeking students interested in sustainable cropping systems: organic fields using cover crop mixtures and ridge-till systems to mitigate climate change. Work will primarily involve analyzing root lengths, weighing biomass, data entry, and field work at the Rock Springs farm in the spring. Sample processing in the lab and other related activities will also be performed. Students should be able to start in January or February and work full time throughout the summer.
