Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity Attends National Event

Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity took home the 2016 Outstanding Chapter of the Year award from the National Delta Theta Sigma Conclave.

Members of Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity, a social-professional organization, attended the National Delta Theta Sigma Conclave at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) campus on October 21st-23rd.  In total, thirteen Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences students participated in the event which provided the opportunity to network with students and industry representatives from seven other universities in the Midwest region.  Presentations and professional development events were informative and educational.  Attendees had the opportunity to hear speakers such as the dean of UWRF’s College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences.  The event concluded with an awards ceremony.  Penn State Delta Theta Sigma chapter received the 2016 National Community/Philanthropy Award for their work with the Ethan J. Wolfe Scholarship Fund and THON.  The chapter was also recognized as the 2016 Outstanding Chapter of the Year within the entire National Delta Theta Sigma organization.
