Posted: March 15, 2016

Coaly Society is now accepting applications for membership until Monday, April 18th at 4:00 p.m.

The Penn State Coaly Society is an honor society for students who exemplify leadership excellence in extracurricular activities within the College of Agricultural Sciences. Coaly Society activities include conducting the Guldin Speaking Contest and selecting our college’s Outstanding Senior. We are now accepting applications for membership - deadline Monday, April 18th at 4:00 p.m.

Coaly Society members are students who are dedicated to the College of Agricultural Sciences and are actively involved in college organizations. Selection of new members is mainly based on leadership positions (offices or committee chairs) in Ag Hill activities. Other activities, such as judging teams, are also considered.

To be eligible, you must be a member of at least one club, which is sponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences, and you must have completed one full semester at the University Park campus. Applicants from every major in the College of Agriculture are welcome. Although applicants must have an overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher, the primary criterion used for selection is leadership in College of Ag Sciences student clubs. Please note, freshmen are not eligible for membership.
