Student Input needed on Chem 110

Posted: March 30, 2015

As part of a collaborative national program on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Penn State is looking into the experiences of students and faculty members involved in Chem 110.

One approach Penn State is taking is to gather student perspectives on the degree to which Chemistry  110 has helped them within their own majors.  Since many baccalaureate major degree programs in our college require Chem 110, I have been asked to reach out to our students to seek their input.

Student input will be collected by students from Smeal  Business College who are running focus groups of students across Penn State who have taken Chem 110.  There are no negative repercussions for anyone, and it would be helpful to secure input from students in the College of Ag Sciences.  Please note,  the focus group interviews need to be collected in the next week or so.  You can sign up for the sessions with the following link-
