Club activities for the beginning of Fall Semester.

Biological Engineering and Agricultural Systems Management

The Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department will be having a picnic including all staff, faculty, undergraduates (including ASM Club, ASABE Club, and Pullers Club), and graduate students from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4th at Sunset Park, Pavilion #1.

Biomedical Sciences Club

Welcome picnic Wednesday, September 5th at 5:30 p.m.  For more information contact Club President Alyssa Pratt.  

Block and Bridle Club

Welcome Picnic - Thursday, September 6th,  5:30 p.m., Pavilion #1 at Sunset Park on McKee Street.

Collegiate 4-H Club

Welcome back activities include hike up Mt. Nittany on September 6th.  At the top there will be pizza and a visit from AgChoice Farm Credit to talk about opportunities with their scholars program.  Meeting time will be 5:30 p.m.  in the Ferguson Building parking lot.

Collegiate FFA

Welcome Back Picnic jointly with Alpha Tau Alpha this year on Monday, September 10th at 6:00 p.m. on the Ferguson front lawn.  We will be traveling to the Big E in Springfield, Mass. on September 14-16 and have three available seats for freshman on the trip who chose to join CFFA.  Our second meeting will be Monday, September 24.  For more information contact Caleb Wright.

First Meeting - Tuesday, September 4th at 5:30 p.m. in 324 Agricultural Sciences and Industries Building.

Ecosystem Science and Management

Welcome Back Pizza Social and Club Information Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4th at 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. in the Forest Resources Building.

Equestrian Team

For prospective members there will be an ice cream social on Wednesday, September 5th at 8:30 p.m. outside of the Agricultural Sciences and Industries Building.

September 6th - Mandatory Pre-Tryout Meeting – 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

September 9th - Tryouts – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For additional information contact Team President Brendan Weiss

September 30th - Home Show #1 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

October 14th - Home Show #2 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Food Science Club

The first meeting will be a picnic located between the Creamery and the greenhouses on August 27th at 5:30 p.m.  The second meeting will be on September 4* (Tuesday) in room 252 at 5:30 p.m.

The Food Science Club meets on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in the Food Sciences Building.   If you have questions, please contact the Food Science Club president Sara Calaman.  

Horticulture Club

The first meeting will be Wednesday, September 5th.  Dinner is at 5:30 pm and meeting will begin at 6:00 pm., location will be Headhouse 1, behind the Tyson Building.  For more information contact Horticulture Club President Michael Schneider.  

Poultry Science Club

Fall Picnic, Wednesday, September 5th, 6:00 p.m. at the Poultry Education and Research Center (PERC).  For more information contact Taylor Young

Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority

Look for our table at the Ag Involvement Fair on Sept 5th. For girls interested in membership, we will hold an information session on Sept 10 (location and time TBD). Contact our recruitment chair, Annie Tralka with any questions or for more information.

The Wildlife Society

The first general body meeting will be on Wednesday, September 5th from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in 112 Forest Resources Building.
