The Dairy Science Club invites all students to participate in this Penn State tradition. Students are paired with a calf to care for and work with in preparation for the show. No experience is necessary. Sign up by March 2nd.

Hosted by the Dairy Science Club, the Spring Dairy Expo is an opportunity for students in any major to select a heifer, work with her to prepare for the show, wash and clip her, then show her at the event. Exhibitors will be judged on both showmanship and fitting skills.

WHEN: March 18-April 11th. Practices are held on weekdays 5-7pm and show day is Saturday, April 11th.

WHO: Any Penn State student who wants to learn about the dairy industry, gain large animal experience, or looking for a new opportunity.

WHERE: Practices are held at the Penn State Dairy Barns and the show takes place at the Snider Ag Arena. Exhibitors will be divided into three divisions based on prior experience. During the week of the Expo, all heifers will be moved to the Snider Ag Arena, where participants will wash and clip their animals.
