My name is Jenneth Layaou and I am the Coordinator for Campus Enrollment and Retention.  My most important responsibility is to serve as the college liaison between your campus and University Park.  In this role, I can help you locate resources to answer your questions, link you with academic advisers and services at your campus; connect you with academic resources in your intended major department, and more.

Updates and News

I will be creating and sending you this monthly e-newsletter, Campus Connections.  To enhance your experience, any suggestions for topics which you may want to see are always welcome!

Fall 2013 Campus Visits

Each semester, faculty and staff from around the college travel with me to select campuses to present information and answer your questions.   This fall, we will be visiting the following campuses: Hazleton, Mont Alto, Altoona, Berks, Erie, and Shenango.  I will be contacting you directly, inviting you to join us during our visit and look forward to meeting many of you at your home campus.

Student Clubs and Organizations

Getting involved with student clubs and organizations allows you to have an impact at your campus and in the community.  Students with similar interests often create student clubs and organizations, or join those that already exist.  Participating can open up new avenues for community service, networking, and implementing positive change at your campus.

The College of Agricultural Sciences offers many resources to help your club stay connected, while achieving the goals of your organization.  Talk to your club adviser about applying for a mini-grant to help support your agriculture related event or function.  Would your organization like to host a visit from representatives of the College of Agricultural Sciences or help facilitate our bridge mentoring program?  Contact me and let’s get started.

Coming Soon

Our new commonwealth campus mentoring program will be launching an "ask a mentor" site, for all your (pre)transition to University Park Campus questions. More information to follow!
