Members of the Block and Bridle Club came together to celebrate a successful year with the Farewell Picnic, hosted on April 18th at the Beef Sheep Center. It was a great night of good food and good company. The night started with a potluck meal. Thanks to Morgan Hultmann and Morgan Brumbaugh, our social chairs, for organizing a great meal. After finishing up dinner, the meeting was called to order to welcome several new faces to the club. This year saw 9 new initiates to our club. These initiates are Karli Arbogast, Sara Benzio, Sara Burke, Siera Hall, Allison Macklin, Blair Steele, Samantha Strong, Lacey Walker, and Hanna Welk. We are so excited to see all of our new members get involved and come into their own within Block and Bridle. We then had to say goodbye to an amazing group of seniors. Over the past four years, this group has had a tremendous impact and their hard work has not gone unnoticed. This group of seniors includes Josh Beam, Morgan Brumbaugh, Shelby Dean, Brandon Decker, Lauren Ebel, Molly Hensley, Morgan Hultmann, Paulina Oleinek, Ben Patterson, Rachel Stoltzfus, Alysha Sweitzer, and Lucas Watson. To all of our seniors, congratulations on your graduation and your accomplishments in the club. We all can't wait to watch you do amazing things in this next chapter of your life! If you'd like to learn more about our seniors, visit our Facebook page where we are currently highlighting each of our seniors. After wrapping up the meeting, the fun continued with some good games of volleyball and cornhole. The farewell picnic was a great night and a wonderful way to wrap up another successful year of Block and Bridle.
