2011 Graduate and Undergraduate Research Expo Awards

During Spring semester on March 16 and 17, 2011, research posters were presented by graduate and undergraduate students from all academic units in the College of Agricultural Sciences at the 17th Annual Gamma Sigma Delta Research Expo. Our chapter, along with generous support from the Gerald T. Gentry Endowment for Graduate Education, Evans Family Endowment, and Resident Education office of the College, provided for student awards at the Research Expo provided over $4,500 for student awards at the Expo. Gretchen Kuldau, Immediate Past President organized event. Many thanks to Gretchen, the student presenters and the judges for making the 2011 Expo a rewarding and successful event.

Initial Collections

The initial collection held more than 150 items. During its first exhibit the museum displayed an 1895 foot-powered milking machine, a horse-powered treadmill, and a 1917 reaper, to mention a few.
