Final Open House of the Year

The last Nittany Lion home football game will be followed on Nov. 13 by the final open house of the year at the Pasto Agricultural Museum, which will highlight hay making. John Baylor, professor emeritus, agronomy extension -- a hay and forage expert -- will discuss haymaking and visitors can view a video of haymaking field demonstrations showing historic farm equipment. We’ll have hands-on activities making straw stars, inspired by German folk art traditions. And to celebrate the conclusion of our Open House Series, Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream will be served, while supplies last.
