Craig Elected NACAA Vice President

Paul Craig, Penn State Cooperative Extension educator in Dauphin County, recently was elected as vice president of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents at its annual meeting.

The association advances the professional status of extension agents and specialists and recognizes professional excellence in Cooperative Extension nationwide. After one year in each of the offices of vice president and president-elect, Craig will serve as president when the Joint Council of Extension Professionals' Galaxy IV Conference is held in Pittsburgh in September 2013, then transition to past-president for the following year. NACAA has a membership of 3,400 extension educators across the country.

A member of the Capital Area Agronomy Team, Craig was awarded the 2009 Merit Award by the American Forage and Grassland Council. He also serves on the combustion subcommittee of the Outreach and Technology Transfer Group of Penn State's Biomass Energy Center.
