Murphy speaks at agricultural industry safety conference

Dennis Murphy, Distinguished Professor of Agricultural Safety and Health, gave a presentation on real-time tractor stability/instability feedback research being conducted in Penn State 's College of Agricultural Sciences, at the first-ever “Be Safe, Be Profitable: Protecting Workers in Agriculture” conference, Jan. 27-28 in Fort Worth, Texas.

The conference, co-organized by the Agricultural Safety and Health Council of America and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, represented an important step forward in reducing occupational injuries and illness.


It brought together farm organization and agricultural industry leaders, risk managers, producers and researchers.
