"In Their Own Words": LGBT 101 program offered

The College of Agricultural Sciences' Office of Multicultural Programs will present "In Their Own Words," from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 19 in 324 Agricultural Sciences and Industries Building.

The free workshop will allow faculty and staff to engage in an active educational session about the university's lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community and will offer techniques for creating a welcoming environment for LGBT and allied individuals on campus.

Facilitated by Penn State's LGBTA Student Resource Center, this professional-development workshop is presented for faculty and staff as part of the LGBT 101 Workshop series.
