She will have come full circle, having served as the very first student intern for the society in addition to receiving the Ag Alumni Society's Internship Award for her work at Westfield Insurance Company in their Agribusiness Division. After spending six years working for the company, she is currently a stay-at-home mother to her two young sons.

I want to serve on the board of the Ag Alumni Society because I was greatly impacted by the society as a student. I want to do my part to "pay it forward" and positively impact current students.

As board president, I hope to build on the positive results and environment that the society has already established. We have a group of volunteers that are outstanding and have committed so much time and talent to the organization. I plan to continue their efforts and work to encourage others to join this group of dedicated Penn State alumni. I hope that my history with the society and its members will help to bring past, present, and potential volunteers together.

I am most proud of the forward-thinking past and present leaders and volunteers. I believe that the group has made great decisions to set the organization up for success in the future. The scholarships and endowments that the society has created are phenomenal. I also believe that our group is very sophisticated and knowledgeable, and with our expertise we are able to accomplish one of our core missions of serving the students.
