New Alumni Society Intern

Jena Sigel

Jena Sigel is a new member of the alumni society team this year—an intern with a lot of experience.

Sigel will be a junior in animal sciences with a concentration in business management. Her studies began at Penn State Altoona, where she was an active member and officer of Penn State Altoona’s Ag Club. She’s served as both treasurer and vice president of Ag Club while at Altoona, and worked with club members to start a Collegiate FFA chapter within Ag Club. Sigel will also take on the role of Ag Advocate, representing the college at various events and programs. She plans to be involved in Block and Bridle Club and try out for the Livestock Judging Team.

With internships at Penn State Extension in Bedford County and Lampire Biological Laboratories already under her belt, she spent this summer interning with Select Sires Inc. and Drive magazine. At Select Sires she assists a sales representative, technician, and herd evaluator focusing on beef and dairy operations. Just to keep busy she’s been promoting Drive magazine, which is geared toward youth involved in livestock, as she travels to livestock shows.

Look for Jena Sigel at upcoming alumni events!
