Although Penn State officially closes for the Winter Break on December 23 and reopens on January 2, we know that many of you will still be working. If you have a service outage in your office, Ag IT staff will waken from our ‘long winter’s nap’ in order to get you back into service!

Following the Penn State calendar, the Ag IT HelpDesk will be closed during the holiday break – December 23 through January 1.

Support for significant outages will be available on December 23 and again on December 26, 27 and 30 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In the event of an emergency service outage such as the loss of office networking – Internet and/or email – or the loss of server-based documents, please call 814-865-1229, indicate that you have an emergency and briefly explain the nature of the outage. This information will be passed to Ag IT staff to help you.

Wireless network connectivity in University Park Campus buildings is a service of Penn State’s Telecommunications and Networking Services (TNS). If wireless connectivity is unavailable, please contact the Penn State Service Desk directly at 865-4357 for resolution.

Non-emergency requests received by telephone during the holidays will be entered as routine helpdesk tickets and will be responded to beginning on January 2. Alternately, you can send non-emergency help requests for assistance after the holiday break by using the helpdesk web form at http://agsci.psu.edu/it/help-request or email AgCompSupport@psu.edu
