Sarah Eissler, PhD student in Rural Sociology and International Agriculture and Development (INTAD), was appointed a Visiting Researcher at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT).

Sarah Eissler, PhD student in Rural Sociology and International Agriculture and Development (INTAD), was appointed a Visiting Researcher at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), a CGIAR Institution based in Cali, Colombia. Ms. Eissler is working with the Gender and Climate Change team in the Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) group, a CIAT-led collaboration of all fifteen CGIAR Centers.

Ms. Eissler is working closely with the Gender and Climate Change team as well as local partners to design and implement a thorough "Gender Background" report for CCFAS' South and SouthEast Asia regions on current policies, strategies and issues facing gender, climate change and agriculture in the regions.
