This project’s mission is to prepare students at the Agribusiness Teaching Center (ATC) in Yerevan, Armenia in the management of food safety processes and educate them on food safety principles through the Food Safety Systems Management program.

Project Description:

With collaboration between the Agribusiness Teaching Center (ATC) in Yerevan, Armenia, Penn State University, and VaTech, the Food Safety Systems Management (FSSM) aims to educate participants on the management of food safety processes and food safety principles. The course includes online and face-to-face lectures on process control, microbiology, sanitation, and food science. The course also includes visits to laboratories and food processing plants for exposure to adequate food processing and testing methods.
